Embedded/Senior Embedded Engineer June 2019 - Present

in a regular day at work, I am the primary contact for corrective action investigations and customer support, often diving deep into issues with other teams or the customers. I also handle the creation of software design documentation for new features and platforms. Acting as the internal Git administrator, managing our releases and tags in source control. My development work spans various hardware platforms for both current and legacy products. Beyond that, I am organizational shift for Safety Certification within my team.

Electrical Test Engineer June 2016-March 2019

As the Electrical Test Engineer, my job was to keep our manufacturing floor running. I ensured all tools and software were operational daily. I also maintained thorough documentation for all tools and process changes. A key part of my role involved performing failure analysis on units returned from the field. Plus, I developed new software tools to assist our manufacturing technicians.

Scrum Master October 2021-Present

Perform all Scrum master duties for the team. Including backlog managing, sprint planning, general jira board upkeep and running all Sprint Events.

Interim Manager October 2022-July 2023

As an interim manager, I regularly discussed priorities with upper management to ensure alignment. I then delegated work to team members, making sure it always aligned with our team's key objectives. I also represented the SAS team in all internal meetings, acting as the single point of contact for anyone seeking help or work from our group

Automation Software Engineer December 2014-June 2016

Worked with Clients from around the world to implement automated laboratory procedures. This process went all the way from system setup and programming to installation and training on site with customers. Programming the systems involved creating custom robot code for each system and implementing drivers in C#.

College and Internships

Academic Technology Center May 2013-May 2014

Worked with Students, Teachers, and Faculty to provide any help needed with AV equipment. Worked a front desk interacting with clients face to face to advise and diagnose problems with equipment. Supplied tech support over the phone for on campus systems. Helped support online classrooms to facilitate high quality teaching to students over the internet. Worked in the ATC printing posters for on campus events and many departments at school.

Bluesky Scientific Internship Summer of 2013

Worked with a Gumstix Linux computer to develop a system to calculate data loss in flash memory due to unceremonious power loss. This involved programming the Gumstix computer to read characters in and write them to memory, then a transistor circuit would cut power to the computer. Upon reboot the file on the Gumstix would be read and compared to the master file from the server computer.
